Feel Stressed? Amazing Synergy Blend, using essential oils

As a certified aromatherapist, I am trained to use pure essential oils safely – and easily – in many different ways.

They are wonderful gifts from nature to help with concerns such as headaches, muscle aches, IBS, eczema and psoriasis, sleep issues, maturing skin, boosting immunity and many other areas of daily life.

I was carefully trained to properly use them and even though I find them simple to use, many folks don’t know where to begin.

How Do I Use My Essential Oils?

There’s several ways you can use pure essential oils:

  • Diffusing into the air. You can add a few drops of just about any essential oil to a cold mist diffuser and let it run for a couple of hours. Adding 2 drops each of Lemon, Tea Tree and Peppermint to your diffuser is a wonderful way to clean the air in your space. That blend is also excellent when you’re having sinus problems. Diffusing Lavender into the air near bedtime is very calming especially for wiggly children.how to use essential oils,
  • Open the bottle and take a whiff. Just opening the cap on your favorite bottle of essential oil and taking a big deep breath can help you in so many ways. Can’t focus? Take several deep breaths of peppermint. (This also works well if you feel nauseous.) Feel brain dead after a day of zoom meetings? Open a bottle of Rosemary essential oil and breath in deeply several times to clear away the brain fog. Feeling anxious? Take the cap off of Lavender essential oil. A few deep whiffs work wonders to calm your anxiety.
  • Apply topically. You can easily dilute pure essential oils to apply to your skin using a carrier such as grapeseed, olive or coconut oil or unscented lotion. Wanna smell nice? Add 1 drop of Bergamot, 2 drops of Neroli and 2 drops of Rose to a tablespoon of unscented lotion and apply to your skin. Got a headache? Combine 2 drops each of Lavender and Peppermint in some coconut oil and rub on your forehead and the back of your neck. Feeling bloated and gassy? Use 4 drops of Peppermint in a bit of coconut oil and rub directly on your belly. Sore muscles? Combine 5 drops of peppermint, 5 drops of ginger and 6 drops of eucalyptus into 2 tablespoons of grape seed oil. Massage into sore muscles to ease the achiness.
  • Bath salts. Weary at the end of the day and in need of a relaxing bath? Pure essential oils and Epsom salts are perfect to relax, detox and soothe your jagged edges. One of my favorite blends after a hard day is 5 drops of Lavender and 5 drops Frankincense combined with 1/2 cup of Epsom salts and add to a hot bath. Your muscles will feel better and your stress melts away.

Celt Symbol Design Car Vent DiffuserA car vent diffuser is a great way to keep your car smelling nice. Put a few drops of your favorite oil on the diffuser and clip it to your vent. Then turn the air on and your car will smell awesome! When I drive long distances, I put Peppermint on my vent diffuser to help me stay alert.
