This week, it’s not about aromatherapy – it’s about shopping small. We’re gearing up for the holiday season and this year, more than ever, shopping with small local businesses is important.
Immediately going online to shop has become a way of life. I get that. I do it, too because sometimes I have no choice and I know it’s the same for you. But why do we keep going to Amazon? Why don’t we think of local folks who could really use our business?
Can I just throw this out there?
Shop Small.
Let’s shop outside the box this year. This holiday season will be very different from what we’re used to. We may not be able to gather in huge numbers because of the “adventure” we’re living through.
So, instead of buying stuff that has to be dusted, may I make a few suggestions?
Ways to Shop Local Without Leaving Home
We’re buying gifts for our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and friends – maybe even close business associates. You can support small local businesses and still shop online.
I call it shopping outside the box.

There’s also many local shops whose owners work hard to provide a safe shopping space for you – including me. Shifting just 10% of your holiday shopping dollars to small local businesses makes a huge difference. Your support is needed now more than ever.
