I have several new clients who are feeling anxious about fresh starts. It seems like there’s a lot of strange energy out there, so it’s not just you feeling anxious.
What if you’re feeling anxious about fresh starts? What if you’re stuck in the last dregs of winter? Maybe it’s the blues that just won’t go away? Are you experiencing unexpected changes in your life? Are you starting a new career yet feel anxious about the transition?
It’s times like these that aromatherapy shines through the wisdom of nature. Essential oils are packed with qualities that can help you in so many ways but particularly when you feel like you only have your “B game” going on or you feel like you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I studied so many oils and their energetic and physical properties in aromatherapy school. The simple act of studying the energetic qualities of each essential oil helped me know how I wanted to approach my aromatherapy practice.
My method of looking at each concern that a client brings to me from an emotional angle helps give me insight into what’s really going on. Not all clients are aware of the real issue – they think it’s one thing, but it’s really another issue altogether.

Fresh Start Synergy Blend
- 5 mL bottle with euro dropper and label
- 4 drops Spearmint (Mentha picata)
- 20 drops Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia)
- 20 drops Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis)
- 20 drops Siberian Fir (Abies siberica)
- 4 drops Neroli Petitgrain Co-Distill (Citrus aurantium var. amara)
- 20 drops Lemon (Citrus limon)
- 20 drops Bergamot (Citrus bergamia)
Gently shake before each use. Add 5 or 6 drops to a cold mist diffuser as often as you like. This is also an amazing scent to use in a diffuser necklace.
